Don’t we have enough distractions in our life?
I know I do!
This article is particularly relevant since I just upgraded to the iPhone 6 and wanted to do things differently. Turning off notifications seemed pretty radical to me, but I am doing it. I also moved all social applications and things I check regularly to my second screen. This way the minute I turn my iPhone on, they’re not glaring at me to do something and therefore distracting.
